This is the fourth year Sunil has worked on Open Streets, previously helping as with promotional and day-of materials for both prior years.
In March 2012, Sunil was elected to a one-year term of Chairperson of Open Streets Hamilton and helped incorporate Open Streets Hamilton as a nonprofit organization in October 2012.
In March 2013, Sunil was appointed Chair of the Open Streets Hamilton Event Planning Committee and interim coordinator of the June 2013 event. He continues to produce all promotional materials and promote Open Streets Hamilton.

Kathryn worked as Volunteer Coordinator for the first event (June 2010) and was hired as Lead Coordinator for September’s event in 2010, and has continued in that role through 2012. She continues to provide assistance to Open Streets Hamilton as a volunteer and consultant.
She has a background in environmental activism and is currently completing her BA in Psychology online at Athabasca University in her spare time.
